Just in Time (SOLD)
Oil on Canvas
16 x 20 inches
Artists Comment:
This painting is inspired by the song “The Modern Age'' by The Strokes. “Leaving just in time, stay there for a while, rolling in the ocean, trying to catch her eye” This song is the second on their album “is this it” and calls to mind the memory of a lazy summer day. The painting captures a brief moment where the girl has her hand on her lip and is glancing over at something or someone we cant see. I wanted to capture the fleeting feeling of warmth and excitement that summer brings.
