Paul Foropoulos was recently interviewed on the Artful Painter podcast. The Artful Painter is one of the most popular podcasts about artists - appearing in the top 100 of visual art shows on Apple Podcasts. In this interview Paul recounts his story of how he became a professional artist. Beginning with his early life as a teenager on the island of Samos, Greece, and continuing with his move to Athens, and from there to Lebanon where he held his first exhibition at just 19 years old.

In this two hour long interview, Paul also talks about his approach to teaching art. He explains what talent is, and the importance of training the talent we have within us.

This was an exclusive conversation with internationally acclaimed artist Paul Foropoulos (PhD Fine Arts), recorded on location at his birthplace on the historic island of Samos in Greece. Dr. Foropoulos sat down with renowned reporter and editor Mr. Manos Stefanakis to reflect on a legacy of global artistic contribution. In this deep dive into a career that spanned over four decades, Dr. Foropoulos discussed his artistic journey, his Mediterranean roots, and the philosophy behind the major participation of XV Florence Biennale showcased in "The Sublime Essence of Light and Darkness" and he presented the planet of earth in an oversized painting of 4.5 meters length in 4 stages of the creation of earth the title of his painting was "The Origin of Light". During the discussion, Dr. Foropoulos shared his insights on how the contrasting forces of light and shadow shaped our visual and spiritual world, and recounted his experience representing Greece on the international stage.

Αυτή ήταν μια αποκλειστική συζήτηση με τον διεθνούς φήμης καλλιτέχνη Παύλο Φορόπουλο (PhD Fine Arts), η οποία μαγνητοσκοπήθηκε στη γενέτειρά του, την ιστορική Σάμο. Ο Δρ. Φορόπουλος συνομίλησε με τον καταξιωμένο δημοσιογράφο και εκδότη κ. Μάνο Στεφανάκη, αναλογιζόμενος μια παγκόσμια καλλιτεχνική πορεία και προσφορά δεκαετιών. Σε αυτή τη βαθιά αναδρομή μιας καριέρας που ξεπέρασε τις τέσσερις δεκαετίες, ο Δρ. Φορόπουλος ανέλυσε το καλλιτεχνικό του ταξίδι, τις μεσογειακές του ρίζες και τη φιλοσοφία πίσω από τη σημαντική συμμετοχή του στην XV Florence Biennale, η οποία παρουσιάστηκε μέσα από την ενότητα "The Sublime Essence of Light and Darkness". Εκεί, παρουσίασε τον πλανήτη Γη σε έναν υπερμεγέθη πίνακα μήκους 4,5 μέτρων, ο οποίος απεικονίζει σε τέσσερα στάδια τη δημιουργία του κόσμου, με τίτλο "The Origin of Light" (Η Πηγή του Φωτός). Κατά τη διάρκεια της συζήτησης, ο Δρ. Φορόπουλος μοιράστηκε το όραμά του για το πώς οι αντίρροπες δυνάμεις του φωτός και της σκιάς διαμόρφωσαν τον οπτικό και πνευματικό μας κόσμο, και περιέγραψε την εμπειρία του να εκπροσωπεί την Ελλάδα στη διεθνή σκηνή.
